About Cortechs

We are FIRST® Robotics Competition Team 5511: Cortechs Robotics, a community robotics team located in Southwest Wake County, North Carolina. The Cortechs community has been going strong for ten years as we continue to grow and inspire STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in the community. Our team family has been pulled from all places across the county, contributing to a wide distribution of aspiring engineers, business leaders, and students skilled in community operations.

FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a non-profit organization designed to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology, and to motivate them to pursue education and career opportunities in the STEM fields.
